Finalist candidates are the top individuals remaining in a recruitment process after successfully passing through earlier stages such as screening, interviews, and assessments. Typically narrowed down to a small shortlist, these candidates undergo final-round interviews or additional evaluations, such as competency tests or panel discussions, before a hiring decision is made.
